Understanding before Exploiting.
Who I Am
I'm Loay Khaled, a Software Engineering student at the Egyptian Chinese University with a strong interest in Web Application Security.
My interest in cybersecurity didn't begin with a single moment or event. It grew naturally through curiosity. The more I learned about modern web applications, the more I wanted to understand their architecture, request flows, authentication systems, and the reasoning behind their design. That curiosity eventually led me to Web Application Security, where understanding a system is just as important as testing it.
My Approach
I believe that understanding systems is more valuable than memorizing exploitation techniques. My approach begins with understanding how an application is built, how its components communicate, and why a vulnerability exists before attempting to exploit it.
Once I understand the architecture and the flow of a system, vulnerabilities become easier to identify, explain, and assess. This philosophy guides the way I study, document, and approach security testing.

Current Focus
My current learning focuses on Web Application Security, authentication, session management, authorization, APIs, modern identity protocols, and secure software architecture.
Alongside my university studies, I continue building technical documentation, solving practical labs, and developing personal projects that strengthen both my technical knowledge and my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Long-Term Vision
My goal is to build a career in Application Security while contributing to secure software and sharing technical knowledge with the community.
I want my work to reflect careful thinking, continuous learning, and a commitment to understanding systems before attempting to break them.
If someone leaves this website believing that I understand what I'm talking about, can be trusted to work on real systems, and helped them learn something new, then I have achieved what I set out to do.
